My Background and Education

Dr. Patricia Wentworth - Chiropractor in Kittery, Maine

Patricia G. Wentworth, ATC, DC graduated from West Chester University in 1980, receiving her ATC in 1982.  She worked at T. C.  Williams High School in Virginia for five years, where national notoriety was brought to the school by the film, "Remember the Titans".  From there, Pat went on to the Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C., where she was the Head Athletic Trainer for five years.  In 1989, she accepted the Head Athletic Training position at Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, Maine. It was during this time that Pat decided to make a career change and enrolled at Life University in Georgia to pursue a career in Chiropractic, gaining a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1998.

      • 30 years combined experience as Athletic Trainer and Chiropractor
      • Worked with elite and semi-pro athletes in the New England region
      • Trainer for the Women’s US Lacrosse Tournament, 1982
      • Consultant for the Silicon Valley Sting Soccer Team, 1999
      • Trainer for the Boston Renegades, National Champions, 200

Chiropractic Objectives

Dr. Wentworth takes a performance based  approach focusing on global response to health and healing. Understanding that all systems of the body affect injury recovery, health and human performance. Our focus is getting these systems working to achieve better outcomes as well as helping your body do what its suppose to do.

More About Me

Dr. Wentworth decided to return to the seacoast area, and joined Equinox Health and Healing in 2001.  In 2008, she left to open her private practice in Kittery, Maine, where she is introducing MedX Protocol to the seacoast region.  MedX is considered the gold standard for neck and low back pain.

Dr. Wentworth played competitive soccer and national lacrosse until a knee injury ended her career at the age of 34.  She has maintained her affiliation with local sports teams in Boston and New Hampshire since 2001, most notably the Boston Renegades, New England Storm Football and New England Hurricane Football.

Outside the office, Pat spends time with her two dogs and horses.  She is always ready for any outdoor activity.
